Medical Students can begin taking enrichment electives during the second semester of the MS1 year. Enrichment electives offer non-credit course opportunities for students to explore interests outside of the required course modules for the MD.
At the conclusion of the pre-clinical curriculum, MS2 students who have cleared the Step 1 pathway and have not started early rotations may have the option to start selected early electives (depending on course availability). The available list of electives will be provided to the students in the Spring of the MS2 year. These courses would count toward elective requirements needed for graduation.
